Mannheim Bio Fuel GmbH – Bio-diesel, made in Germany

Mannheim Bio Fuel GmbH is a subsidiary of Diester Industrie International SAS. It is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of biofuels and is at the same time one of the largest producers of bio-diesel in Europe.

The nominal capacity of our production site in Mannheim at the present time is around 100,000 tonnes of bio-diesel per year. With a strategic location on the upper Rhine Mannheim Bio Fuel GmbH is in an excellent position to deliver to its customers along the Rhine. Supplies of edible oil are delivered in an environmentally friendly manner via pipeline by our main supplier Bunge Deutschland GmbH.

For its bio-diesel the company utilises progressive production processes and innovative technologies. It delivers its products directly to the large European mineral oil companies, mineral oil trading companies, independent filling stations and freight companies. In addition MBF also sells high-quality natural glycerine that is generated as a by-product in the manufacture of the bio-diesel.

With the latest technology we are making a contribution to the security of energy supplies and with demonstrable CO2 savings of more than 80 per cent we are setting an example as a biofuel producer in climate protection.
